Multi-site High Availability with Disaster Recovery

This configuration achieves High Availability and disaster recovery via a single Availability Group for databases at different geographic locations.A Primary and a Secondary database are synchronously mirrored at one site, while a disaster recovery databases is mirrored asynchronously at a second site (the DR server could also have a failover).

In addition to greatly improving database query performance, ioMemory also speeds replication and failover times to enhance the high availability profile.

Single-site Availability and Optimum Resource Allocation

This configuration optimizes hardware efficiency. The secondary server is a readable mirror and failover. The readable mirror offloads tasks like reporting and backups to improve both the performance of live database queries and the secondary tasks.
