See How Easy Open Computing Can be at OCP Summit V

We're looking forward to returning to the Open Compute Project (OCP) Summit in San Jose January 28-29. Join us in booth #B8 for amazing giveaways and exciting technology demos.

To help get you started with open flash, we'll be giving away 12 ioScales at OCP V. Stop by our booth to learn how you can register to win. You'll find booth #B8 right between Fusion-io friends Quanta and Hyve, and we're teaming up with both of these open server companies for giveaways as well.

We're proud to be sponsors and participants in the summit and the Open Compute Project. Facebook started OCP more than two years ago with a goal of building "the most efficient computing infrastructures at the lowest possible cost." Facebook built software, vanity-free servers, and storage using open technologies, shared their designs publicly, and invited others to join. Last year, we contributed the design for a 3.2TB product.

We'll be presenting at the conference. Hear our President and COO Lance Smith, with CMO Gary Orenstein and lead architect Nisha Talagala, present "Flash for the Future—Software Optimizations for Non Volatile Memory" on January 28 at 4:45 p.m.

Don't miss our technology demonstrations. Learn how Atomic Writes reduce costs by extending flash life and reducing latency. We're also showing how flash-aware primitives can double performance when using compression with MySQL.

Registration for the conference is free, but you must register by January 20 to attend.

Check out our previous spotlights on OCP servers from Hyve and Quanta, and check back for news from OCP Summit V. Follow the conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #OCPSummit.
