Red Hat Revs Up Its Enterprise Operating System with Fusion-io

Red Hat has done extensive testing to show the power of Fusion’s ioMemory for its enterprise operating system. Over the past few months, Red Hat has made several announcements on how Fusion-io improves its operating system’s performance. Red Hat has:

• Optimized the 6.1 operating system for solid-state to achieve 1.4 million IOPS from an already impressive 1.32 million IOPS in the 6.0 release. Click here for details.
• Scaled raw performance of a commodity server to 2 Million IOPS and a sustained throughput of 12.5GB/s at transfer sizes greater than 16KB on an off-the-shelf server. Click here for details.
