We’re excited to be heading back to SIGGRAPH 2012 in Los Angeles this year, where we’ll be in booth 813 giving an in depth look at the ioFX. During the show, we'll be announcing the winner of our Project ioFX video contest and taking part in some exciting demonstrations with some of the entertainment industry’s most influential special effects application providers.
Project ioFX is still open until July 23, so get your entries in for your chance to win great prizes including a trip to SIGGRAPH, Red Scarlet Camera, Adobe Creative Suite, Maingear computer, and of course, an ioFX. The contest is meant to let artists create their own 60-second short to tell the ioFX story in their own words. Judges including Fusion-io Chief Scientist Steve Wozniak, actor Danny Trejo (Machete) and two-time visual effects Academy Award® winner Rob Legato will determine the grand prize winner, who we'll announce in our booth on August 8. Full info is posted on the Fusion ioFX Facebook page, so check it out and get your entry in!
Our ioFX workstation product was designed to eliminate data bottlenecks that slow the creative production process for digital artists. The Fusion ioFX lets creative professionals meet deadlines while exploring more artistic possibilities, bridging the performance gap between workstations and today’s powerful digital content creation applications. From footage capture in the field, to post-production of the finished film, the ioFX is architected for uninterrupted manipulation of digital content in real time.
Hope to see you in booth 813 at SIGGRAPH 2012!
